Our Business

Over half of our practice is devoted to family law matters such as dissolution, divorce, custody, and parenting time schedules.  In addition, Mark handles civil litigation, criminal defense, and business filings.  

We also offer professional mediation services to resolve issues quickly and less expensively than traditional court cases, or as a supplement to on-going legal actions.

We value our clients and it shows in our actions.  Your phone calls will be promptly returned, your legal matters will be handled professionally, and you will be informed of the status of your case.

Our office is staffed by Dottie McNown, an experienced paralegal who helps us insure that our clients receive the attention they deserve.

Julie attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law at night while working full time.  After graduation she worked four years as a legal editor for LexisNexis and two years as a juvenile prosecutor before opening Steddom Law Office. 

Mark graduated from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio.  He has practiced in the areas of business formation, civil litigation, criminal defense, and all aspects of family law.  Mark joined Steddom Law Office in 2011 and serves clients in all of southern Ohio.
